PROJECT OVERVIEW

She’s Rogue provides female-identifying individuals the opportunity to discover and cultivate their creativity, find fresh inspiration, and challenge boundaries in their personal and professional lives. Typical experiences include creative projects and guided outdoor adventures that provide opportunities for risk-taking and leadership development.

She’s Rogue participants reported a 26% increase in self confidence and participants took on more leadership roles after the four week workshop. They had new tools to overcome challenges in a healthy way, and were more confident to take up space than they were before. Following the workshop, I quit my day job to take She’s Rogue out into the world. My goal is to create a space and various experiences where women can be creative, vulnerable, and adventurous without the constraints of what that has to look like.

ROLE & CONTRIBUTIONS

I learned that one of the most successful ways to bring positive change to a community is to empower the women within it to be leaders. My goal was to create an experience where women could find success at taking risks in safe environments and in turn take on more leadership roles within their communities. The pilot program consisted of four sessions which included rock climbing, welding, woodworking and an overnight retreat with creative projects.

  • “The most impactful moment for me was when I realized that I was more confident in my skills and potential when I was surrounded by other learning women.”

  • “Wild is about being fully awake, fully present, and fully engaged with the possibility of what lives inside of you. ”

  • “If you’re feeling stuck or like you want to take risks, but don’t know how, this is the place for you.”

BRAND IDENTITY

The brand identity was developed in collaboration with designer Nick Barry. He states “In its simplest form, the mark represents a figure standing to be counted. On a deeper level it’s breaking through the class ceiling and out of your comfort zone.” It was important to me that the brand felt inspiring and like it was pushing boundaries. I chose the bold colors as a statement from the very first touch point with the brand that says “this is a space for women to bring all of themselves.”

OFFERINGS

WORKSHOPS

I offer a variety of ongoing, workshops that are open to the general public and range in content from outdoor adventures to creative activities. Both types of activities are designed to expose participants to new experiences and increase risk-taking in a safe environment.

ONE-ON-ONE CONSULTING

Participants can learn one-on-one with trained instructors about what it means to adventure, be wild, create and get messy. They are given tools to help break patterns of fear and doubt so they can fully show up in their every day lives.

SMALL GROUP CONSULTING

Participants can gather with a group of other passionate females who are looking to reach their next goal. Packages include five 3-hour sessions and one 8-hour day trip that will provide hands-on experiences and useful tools to help you find your voice, take up space, and tap into a new level of creativity and adventure.

CORPORATE TRAININGS

I listen to and understand the goals of organizations and pull from our deep library of resources and tools to design an experience that is perfect for their team. Participants should be prepared to get their hands dirty and exercise their imagination through a variety of practices such as woodworking, welding, and block printing, or and outdoor adventure.
