Teaching

Courses Taught

My primary goal as an educator is to create aware-citizens who understand their impact on communities, systems and environments and know how to tackle wicked problems.  My approach bridges theory and practice, teaching technical skills grounded in theory and historical context. I create safe spaces for students to take risks, ask difficult questions, and to fail quickly so they can understand their own biases, uncover their own creativity, and embrace their own vulnerabilities. These foundational principles create a classroom that values diversity and inclusivity, and an onus to confront negative frameworks in the classroom and beyond.
